Welcome to Southern Tier Counseling Center, LLC. We are a private counseling practice located in Elmira, NY. We provide Individual, Couples, and Family counseling. We have 16 therapists at our office that specialize in several Mental Health issues and we accept a wide variety of insurance.

Johanna “Joey” Webster, LCSW
Johanna works at STCC full-time. She works with all demographics, and specializes in Depression, Anxiety, Adolescent Trauma, PTSD and Domestic Abuse.
Kathy Webster, LCSW-R
Kathy is the owner of Southern Tier Counseling Center, LLC. While she has primarily retired from seeing clients for therapy, she still remains actively involved in the STCC practice. She also supervises new therapists coming into the field.
Marcy Hertzog, LCSW-R, CASAC
Marcy works at STCC part-time. Marcy works with Adults 20 years and older. She specializes in Addictions, Anxiety, Depression, Separation/Divorce, Grief and Loss.
Dianne Hill, LCSW
Dianne works at STCC part-time. She works with all demographics and specializes in Depression, Anxiety, Teen Issues, Behavioral Issues, ADHD, Trauma and Peer Conflicts.
Sandy Brenen, LCSW-R
Sandy works at STCC part-time. She works with all demographics, and specializes in Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Marital/Couples Issues, School and Behavioral Problems, ADHD, Gay/Lesbian/Transgender Issues, Trauma, Self Esteem, Bipolar and Grief or Loss.
David Green, LCSW-R
David works at STCC part-time. David sees adults 18 years and older and specializes in Trauma, Veteran's issues, Anxiety, Depression, Marital/Couples Issues and can provide ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).
Sarah Rosen, LMHC
Sarah works at STCC part-time. She works with all demographics and specializes in Anxiety, Depression, Teen Issues, School & Behavioral Problems, and Peer Conflicts.
Kelly Longwell, LCSW
Kelly works at STCC part-time. She works with all demographics, and specializes in Anxiety, Depression, Eating Disorders, Relationship Issues, Grief, and Personality Disorders, and can provide ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).
George Funnell, LCSW-R
George works at STCC full-time. He works with all demographics and specializes in Depression, Anxiety, Teen Issues, Family/Couples Issues, Mood Disorders, and Men’s Issues
Kyle Kucmierowski, LCSW
Kyle works at STCC part-time. He works with all demographics and specializes in Trauma related disorders(PTSD,C-PTSD) Alcohol and Substance Abuse, Mood Disorders, and Personality Disorders and is also trained in EMDR and DBT skills.
Carley Blampied, LMSW
Carley works at STCC part-time, she works with all demographics and specializes in Children and Adolescent Issues, Depression, Anxiety, Family Issues, and Women’s Issues.
Linda Wagner, LCSW-R
She works full-time and works with all demographics, and specializes in Anxiety, Depression, Children and Adolescent Issues.
Kevin Murphy, Ed.D, LCSW-R
Kevin works at STCC part-time. Kevin sees all demographics and specializes in Anxiety, Depression, School & Behavioral problems, Trauma, and is also certified in EMDR.
Elizabeth “Betsy” Bowman, LMSW
Betsy works at STCC part-time. She works with all demographics. She is a master certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) Practitioner and National ART trainer. Betsy specializes in trauma including PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Self-Esteem Issues, Phobias, and Grief. She uses a strengths-based holistic approach.
